Most apps guess where you are and drift with your phone. PadosXO asks once, at sign-up, which pincode is home - and it stays fixed. Travel to Jaipur for the weekend and your feed won't fill with Jaipur. Work elsewhere? Add a second pincode and switch between the two.

People in your radius who've opted into discovery. Nobody appears here who hasn't chosen to.

Nobody can message you until you say so.
Proximity without consent isn't a feature, it's a problem. Chat on PadosXO is request-and-accept: someone sends one short introductory message, you accept or you don't, and only then does a conversation exist. No accept, no second attempt. Your phone number is never shown.

Verification you can't fake by filling in a form.
Anyone can type an address. Almost nobody can fake being somewhere for seven days out of fourteen. Verified Local is earned by presence, not paperwork - and it's the only badge that unlocks safety alerts. Business and service pages, however established, can't post them.

GPS confirms your device in your registered area on 7 of any 14 days, and the badge appears on its own. No documents, no approval queue.
ID Verified
An optional government ID upload adds a second, separate chip to your profile. Entirely voluntary - plenty of Verified Locals never do it.
Endorsements
People you've actually chatted with can endorse you, adding 10 points to your Trust Ring. One-directional, so it can't be traded back and forth.

How does PadosXO decide what appears in my feed?
Your feed is everything posted within 10 km of your registered pincode centroid, shown newest first. There is no ranking algorithm choosing what you see or hiding what you don't engage with. You can register a second work pincode and switch between two feeds.
How do I become a Verified Local?
You don't apply - you're awarded it. Register your home pincode when you sign up, then simply live your normal routine. If GPS detects your device inside that registered area on 7 of any 14 days, the Verified Local badge appears on your profile automatically. No documents, no approval queue.
Why can't I post an Alert?
Alerts are restricted to Verified Locals - residents whose presence GPS has confirmed over 7 of 14 days. If you've just signed up, the Alert option stays locked until then. Business and service provider pages cannot post Alerts at any point, regardless of how long they've been active - an alert is only worth anything if it can't be sent by someone who isn't there.
Can someone message me without my permission?
No. Chat on PadosXO is request-and-accept. Another user can send you a single short introductory message - once, permanently - and after that they cannot contact you again unless you accept the request. Your phone number is never displayed or shared with anyone.
What happens if I move to a different area?
Change your registered pincode in settings and your feed moves with you. Your Verified Local status recalculates against the new area on the same 7-of-14-day basis, so it takes a couple of weeks to re-earn - which is the point. Verification tracks where you actually are, not where you once said you were.
Does my society or RWA need to sign up first?
No - that's the main structural difference between PadosXO and society-management apps such as MyGate, NoBrokerHood or ApnaComplex. Those require your management committee to adopt the software first. PadosXO works from your pincode, so you register yourself and you're in, whatever kind of housing you live in.
What is the Trust Ring?
The Trust Ring is a visible signal of how much of your neighbourhood vouches for you. People you have actually held a conversation with can endorse you, and each endorsement adds 10 points. Endorsements are one-directional, so two users cannot simply endorse each other back and forth to inflate their scores.
Is PadosXO tracking my location all the time?
Location is used to confirm whether your device is inside your registered pincode area, which drives Verified Local status. It is not used to show your live position to other users, and your precise location is never displayed on your profile or in your posts.
