No. Creating a service page is free, and PadosXO takes no commission on your work and charges nothing per lead or enquiry. Payment is arranged directly between you and the customer - PadosXO does not process payments, set prices or take any cut of the job.
How do customers find me on PadosXO?
Three ways. Residents within 10 km can find your service page in Explore Nearby, filtered by trade. You can respond directly to Requirement posts where someone has stated what they need. And customers who are happy with your work can recommend you by name in the feed, which carries their Verified Local badge.
Do I need documents or a licence to list my service?
Requirements are kept light so individual tradespeople aren't excluded by paperwork. PadosXO does not conduct background checks or verify credentials - residents are told this clearly, and many will ask you for references or police verification themselves, particularly for domestic and live-in work.
Does PadosXO verify or vet service providers?
No, and we say so plainly on the page residents see too. PadosXO connects you with nearby residents; it does not background-check providers, verify qualifications, guarantee work quality or mediate disputes. What it offers instead: recommendations from named, GPS-verified neighbours who have actually used you.
How is this different from Urban Company?
Urban Company is a booking platform: it sets prices, takes a commission, assigns jobs and owns the customer relationship. PadosXO is a neighbourhood noticeboard: it introduces you to residents nearby and then steps out of the way. You set your own price, keep the whole payment and keep the customer.
Which trades work best on PadosXO?
Anything where trust and proximity matter more than price - plumbers, electricians, carpenters, AC and appliance technicians, cooks and tiffin services, home tutors, deep cleaning, pest control, tailors, drivers and pet care. As a rule of thumb: if most of your current work already comes through someone recommending you, this format fits.
Can I cover more than one area?
Your service page is anchored to a registered pincode and reaches residents within 10 km of it, which for most trades already covers more ground than is practical to travel in a working day. If you work across two separate parts of the city, check the current multi-area options in the app.
