How much does a business page cost on PadosXO?
Nothing. Creating and running a business page is free, with no listing fee, subscription or commission. There is also no paid placement - you cannot buy a higher position in the feed or in Explore Nearby, because ordering is determined by proximity and recency rather than by budget.
Who will actually see my business page?
Residents whose registered pincode places them within 10 km of your business. That's the whole audience, deliberately - people outside that radius will not see your page, your events or your posts, because they were never going to walk into your shop.
What can a business page post?
Events, general Posts and Requirements without restriction, plus one Buy/Sell listing and three Ask Community posts per week. Business pages cannot post safety Alerts at any point - that's reserved for GPS-verified residents, and it's precisely that restriction that keeps alerts trustworthy for everyone.
Can I pay to appear higher in the feed?
No. There is no advertising product, no promoted placement and no way to buy ranking on PadosXO. What appears near the top is what is nearby and recent. The most effective thing that can happen to your business here is a Verified Local resident recommending you by name - which cannot be purchased.
How is this different from listing on JustDial or Google Business Profile?
A directory answers people who are already searching for your category. PadosXO puts you in a feed that residents in your radius read anyway, so you also reach people who weren't looking yet. Keep your Google Business Profile for 'near me' searches, and use PadosXO for the neighbourhood conversation those searches never touch.
Do I need a GST number or shop licence to create a page?
Requirements are kept deliberately light so small and home-run businesses aren't excluded - a tiffin service or a home baker should be able to list as easily as a chain pharmacy. Confirm the current requirements in the app when you create your page.
Can I run a home-based business on PadosXO?
Yes, and it's one of the categories the format suits best.
